We recently held a media day on behalf of premium Spanish olive oil producer, Castillo de Canena, at the London offices of Extenda, the trade promotion agency of Andalucia. The day focused around promoting the features and benefits of Castillo de Canena’s exquisite range of extra virgin olive oils including Family Reserve and First Day of Harvest, as well as demonstrating some other exciting developments in product innovation. The format of the day comprised five personalised one-to-one hour long tasting sessions with Castillo de Canena’s marketing director, Rosa Vano, and export manager, Ana Vargas. Journalists target publications including The Times Weekend, Restaurant Magazine, Men’s Health, Foodepedia and Blue Tomato attended the sessions, and sampled the delicious oils.
