Passionate about consumers and what makes them tick, Sylvie heads up the lifestyle and leisure hub at Corixa. From DIY, gardening and housewares to stay at home holidays, motoring and shopping, Sylvie shapes the PR agenda for a whole host of well-known household names including Ryobi, AEG, Milwaukee power tools; Proton Cars, Clive Ranger and on a regional basis, Greenhous.
Sylvie is committed to driving forward the delivery of client innovation, from developing strategic plans to new creative approaches and counsel – whether driving a media relations campaign or developing a more complex integrated communications solution. Sylvie and her dedicated team at Corixa have a wealth of media contacts between them across trade, consumer, regional and online press, enabling them to leverage great results for clients.
Having worked in the PR industry for over nine years, Sylvie is a seasoned lifestyle and leisure specialist who delivers creative, yet practical solutions for clients, and has significant expertise across a spectrum of marketing disciplines.
Sylvie joined Corixa in January 2007, having previously worked at other regional consultancies on both regional and national accounts, including Sainsbury’s; Clarks Village; Bentalls; The Cotswold and Forest of Dean Destination Management Organisation; Templegate Peugeot; SmartLipo; Bob Martin and Nikken UK, to name but a few. More recently at Corixa, Sylvie delivered First Capital Connect’s regular customer facing magazine “Your Journey” and implemented a series of strategic marcomms campaigns to help raise awareness of investment made in stations, services provided and staff across the network.
In her spare time, Sylvie is a committed and active member of the PR community in the region, working for the last three years as Secretary for the West of England Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Committee. In 2004, Sylvie was also a finalist for the West of England CIPR ‘Young Communicator of the Year’ award.
